Certio Medio Ambiente has been awarded by Abengoa Group Engineering (Abeinsa) for the supply and installation of two continuous Benzene control systems for three of its solar thermal plants located in Extremadura. This project is based on the requirements of the Air Quality regulations and specifically the UNE-EN 14662 standard, in reference to the measurement of benzene.
The supply project includes 3 measuring equipment for the Solavent I, II and IV plants, and a measuring cabin will be installed in each of them.
The award amounts to €80,910 for the supply and installation.
Since last October, Certio Medio Ambiente has collaborated with Samca Renovables and Elecnor in the supply and installation of similar measuring equipment. Currently, at the Samca Renovables La Dehesa and La Florida plants, as well as the Axtesol plant owned by Elecnor, it is carrying out maintenance work on the systems, these works being part of the recurring work project portfolio for the coming years.
Maintenance contracts are also planned for the Solavent I, II and IV plants.
