At dnota, we continue to consolidate our leadership in air quality monitoring by winning the maintenance contract for the Air Quality Network of La Rioja for the period 2024-2025. This project reinforces our commitment to sustainability and the development of smart cities, providing advanced tools for decision-making in urban environments.
An essential network for air quality
Air Quality Network of La Rioja, made up of stations at strategic points such as Logroño (La Cigüeña) and Alfaro, is essential to ensure compliance with European and national air quality legislation. This contract includes basic tasks such as
- Preventive and corrective maintenance of reference instruments.
- Periodic calibrations and verifications to ensure data accuracy.
- Management and updating of the data processing centre.
- Measurement and analysis of PM2.5 by gravimetric methods.
- Providing technical support to the network management body.

Although this contract does not include IoT sensors, our experience in this field positions us as a pioneer in advanced solutions such as the Bettair devices, considered by AIRLAB to be the most accurate in the world. With installations in more than 70 cities throughout Spain, this technology complements and extends the management capacity of air quality networks by offering more sampling points. Bettair sensors provide real-time measurements of pollutant gases, particulate matter, noise and other key indicators and are perfectly suited to the challenges of Smart Cities and Low Emission Zones.
