AethLabs microAeth® MA350 Black Carbon Monitor

The microAeth® MA350 device is the state-of-the-art in air pollution monitoring. Is specialized for the accurate detection of carbon black, carbon black or soot particles, this monitor provides ambient concentration data with unparalleled accuracy. An outstanding feature is its ability to operate in five UV-IR wavelengths through an innovative filter system, ensuring continuous and reliable measurements thanks to an integrated electric suction pump.

Exceptionally versatile with precise flow rate control, integrated GPS for accurate geolocation, and humidity and temperature sensors for comprehensive analysis of atmospheric conditions. Beyond measuring concentrations, the Black carbon MA350 Monitor analyzes particulate composition, allowing you to distinguish various combustion sources such as diesel, wood smoke, biomass and tobacco.

In addition, the MA350 uses Magee Scientific Corporation’s patented DualSpot® method to compensate for optical loading effects. This technology provides additional data on the optical properties of the aerosol, providing an in-depth understanding of the surrounding air.

In summary, the Black carbon MA350 Monitor is a leader in environmental monitoring. Its rugged design makes it an ideal choice for outdoor environments and its ability to operate for months with minimal maintenance makes it essential for extended measurement campaigns. It distinguishes pollution sources and addresses air quality challenges in urban and rural environments. DualSpot® is a trademark of Magee Scientific Corporation, used under license.
